Context This is a part time position, in a job share arrangement. Part time hours 0.6FTE, 3 shifts per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Key Duties and Responsibilities Provides direct clinical care in a defined practice area for client group with diverse and/or complex care requirements. Provides sound professional advice critical in dealing with significant issues related to assessment, planning, review, evaluation and coordination of client care in a defined practice area. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour. Selection Criteria Essential 1. Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for same 2. Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills and experience in wound management, dealing with significant issues related to assessment, planning, review, evaluation and coordination of client care for groups and individuals with diverse and/or complex care requirements 3. Demonstrated a high level of proficiency in the understanding, application, analysis and interpretation of a professional body of knowledge to provide sound advice and support to the multidisciplinary team 4. Demonstrated experience in collaboratively supporting and participating in investigating and implementing recommendations for improved health outcomes using a range of appropriate audit/research approaches 5. Demonstrated use of excellent communication skills to maximise productive working relationships including with relevant specialists and executive management, and manages conflict to promote co-operation, teamwork and understanding in undertaking challenging, demanding and complex work 6. Demonstrated promoting a learning environment through clinical support, instruction, and feedback including mentoring students, graduates and less experienced staff across the multidisciplinary team Desirable 1.
